Innocent

Years ago on a safari I discovered a flower
And never was content
Pollen I carried like a goat in narrow paths
Aware was not I
A decade away of beauty increasing
More of that nectar I inhaled
Never knew I am infected and elevated
Heaven in a flower aroused
Hidden in the rush of life
A seed caught on my trails sprouted
Safari flower rooted in my heart
Through my veins my mind my senses
I falled in love petals are hugging me
At night covering me poignantly
Wonder flower nourishes me
It's origins I know I live
